Joe Grant is president of the firm. His qualifications include positions as Chief Operating Officer, General Manager, Director of Operations, Director of Client Services, and Account Manager at Fahlgren, Ketchum, SRK Communications, and MARC. On the client side, Joe was Manager of Marketing Communications at Westinghouse Electric Corporation. He is also an accredited member of the Institute of Management Consultants. Joe is an instructor for the American Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAA) Professional Development Series and has conducted seminars for audiences of agency owners at many AAAA Forums throughout the U.S. He speaks on industry issues for agency membership organizations including AAAA, MagNet (formerly MAAN), ANNI, IAN, DMA, and TAG. Joe’s energetic leadership and participation on panels and in breakout sessions always garner top-notch ratings. In the training area, Joe Grant designs and delivers agency-focused Agency Leadership™ packages covering presentation skills, account management, creative problem solving, communications, time management, and other skills essential for personal and agency success. To help agencies do a better job, Lisa and Joe have interviewed more than 1900 agency clients at all levels of responsibility then counseled agency managers on improving service and capitalizing on opportunities. They have been brought in for “marriage counseling” and are often cited as experts on the dynamics of agency/client relations. They also publish Grant’s Report devoted exclusively to management issues at growing agencies, and regularly sends white papers and a monthly emailed newsletter Grant’s Client Brief to Grant clients and interested parties.
